4.4 AWOL

Affects 4.4

Members appointed or elected to a position shall automatically be relieved of their title and responsibilities should they be found to be absent for a period exceeding 28 days without prior notice.

The Board may relieve any member of their appointed or elected position if found to be absent for a period exceeding 28 days without prior notice.

The rationale is that there isn't anything automatic about this, someone needs to make a decision so remove 'automatically' and add Board as making the decision. Replace 'shall' with 'may' to give wiggle room in case there are good reasons not to remove someone's title/responsibilities.
