Edinburgh meetup, towards the end of this month

Edinburgh meetup, towards the end of this month

Postby cabalamat » Tue Feb 09, 2010 4:09 am

I'm organising an Edinburgh meetup in the last week of this month (i.e. some time between the 22nd and the 27th). What evening would people prefer?

OK, I'll make it Wednesday 24th February, from 7pm onwards. The location is The Standing Order in Central Edinburgh, 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station.

The Standing Order is a Wetherspoons pub (i.e. no annoying loud music, good range of reasonably-priced beers) with wifi access. I'll be there from 7pm onwards. If you can't get there until later, no problem. My mobile number is 07930 631730 which may help you find us if it's your first meeting and you don't recognise people.

The meetup is at least as much for social, getting-to-know-each-other purposes as it is for discussing Pirate Party matters. Non-members and people interested in the Pirate Party are therefore welcome.

An email will go out to Scottish Pirates shortly.

I should be able to make this, but only after 8.30. I'll find out if you're still around then.

I will be around after 8:30 -- I'll probably leave around midnight.

Something's come up at the last minute and I can no longer go to this. I hope there is a good turnout!
