Results of member voting for Campaigns Officer and RAOs

Voting for the role of Campaigns Officer, as well as Regional Administrative Officers for the Scotland, London, South West, South East, West Midlands and North West regions has now closed, and the results are as follows:

Election of Campaigns Officer

The members have voted to elect Peter Brett as Campaigns Officer, with 115 votes in favour of his appointment, 10 abstentions, and 4 votes to re-open nominations. A total of 129 votes were cast.

Peter Brett had been Acting Campaigns Officer after Philip Hunt stood down following the election. In recognition of his work for the party, the NEC has declared Philip a "Hero of the party".

Election of Regional Administrative Officers

Note that voting for Regional Administrative Officers was restricted to members within their respective regions. Some regions were uncontested.

Scotland: The members have elected Andrew Paliwoda to serve as Scotland RAO, with 22 votes in favour, 0 abstentions, and 1 vote to re-open nominations. A total of 23 votes were cast.

North West: The members have elected Jack Allnutt to serve as North West RAO, with 8 votes in favour, 1 abstention, and 0 votes to re-open nominations. A total of 9 votes were cast.

West Midlands: The members have elected Daniel Newman to serve as West Midlands RAO, with 6 votes in favour, 3 abstentions, and 1 vote to re-open nominations. A total of 10 votes were cast.

London: The members have elected Chris Monteiro to serve as London RAO, with 11 votes in favour, 4 abstentions, and 1 vote to re-open nominations. A total of 16 votes were cast.

South East: The members have elected Stephen Ogden to serve as South East RAO, with 22 votes in favour, 0 abstentions, and 1 vote to re-open nominations. A total of 23 votes were cast.

South West: The members have elected Luke Higgins to serve as South West RAO, with 11 votes in favour, 2 abstentions, and 3 votes to re-open nominations. A total of 16 votes were cast.

Board of Governors Nominations

Nominations for the board remain open until 17th June. A vote will occur shortly thereafter. See the forum thread for details of nominations so far.
